Trails

Appuldurcombe Farm has a number of great trails nearby or running through the farm and guests are encouraged to explore these paths and tracks.

However, it is important to close gates behind you unless they are obviously tied or propped open. There is livestock (sheep and cows), so keep dogs on a lead and do not let them worry the animals. Please follow the Countryside Code.

The Red Squirrel Trail

32 miles of cycle tracks, mainly off road and covering some fantastic countryside. Well worth exploring and the website gives all the information together with maps and other interesting detail.

The Worsley Trail

This walk is about 15 miles long and runs approximately 10 miles to the West and North of the farm to Brightstone and around 5 miles to the east to Shanklin on the coast.

Godshill and Appuldurcombe Circular

Just over 5 mile (9 km) this circular route can start at the farm and head off past Freemantle Gate down to Godshill. This could be far enough as there is a pub and more …
