Ventnor is the nearest town to Appuldurcombe Farm – just 3.1 miles and a 10-minute drive, traffic permitting. It’s on the south coast of the island beneath St Boniface Down, which imparts its own warm and sunny microclimate.
A beautiful Victorian resort and spa town, it has many local businesses and you’ll be surprised that it is not just the usual “chain” shops. There’s loads of interest and originality.
There are great eats and drinks available with 20 establishments within a mile of the centre of the town. But why not picnic on the beach?
